How it works

Three steps to compare your results

All you need is a Sexual Personality result for each partner.

1

Both partners take the test

Each of you takes the free Hypnotechs Sexual Personality Test: 30 questions, about 8 minutes.

2

Screenshot both results

Each of you saves your results page. Your Analytical and Physical percentages are on the line at the top. If you didn’t enter an email address on the test, your results can’t be recovered. See Where are my quiz results?

3

Enter both sets here

Add each partner’s name and their two percentages below, Analytical first, then Physical, and get an explanation of how your styles fit together.

Tip: each person’s two numbers always add up to 100. If they don’t, double-check that you copied them in the right boxes.

Personalized results, not a form letter

Most tools just line up two scores. Your comparison is written for your two exact results, in Kappasinian terms: what kind of pair you are, where you click, where you may misread each other, and what each of you can try.

The comparison tool

Compare your results

Have both results ready. Enter each partner’s name, then their Analytical and Physical percentages exactly as they appear at the top of their Sexual Personality results.

What you’ll learn

What a Kappasinian comparison shows

The comparison reads both results side by side and looks at the patterns that most often shape how two partners give and receive affection.

Your pairing

Whether you balance each other, sit on the same side, or share a flexible mix, and what that tends to mean.

Where you click

What tends to feel easy and natural between the two of you.

Where you may misread each other

Everyday moments where your styles can clash, such as affection, space and making up.

Tips for each partner

Simple, practical ideas each of you can try to meet in the middle.

Pair by pair

How Analytical and Physical styles play out between partners

In Dr. Kappas’s theory, the partner who balances you sits about the same distance from the middle, on the opposite side. Here is how the main pairings tend to look in everyday life.

A+P

Analytical and Physical: the balancing pair

Each partner brings what the other is missing. The Analytical partner brings steadiness and room to breathe; the Physical partner brings warmth, touch and openness. The pull is often strong at the start. Later, the same difference can turn into one partner reaching out while the other pulls back.

Try: say out loud what each of you needs, breathing room for one and closeness for the other, and plan for both.

A+A

Two Analyticals

You both value privacy, independence and showing care through what you do. Life together can feel calm and respectful, but affection can quietly fade if you both wait for the other to reach out first.

Try: put time together on the calendar, and take turns being the one who starts it.

P+P

Two Physicals

You both show feelings openly and want closeness, attention and reassurance. Warmth comes easily, but you may compete for attention, and small hurts can flare up fast.

Try: take turns giving the reassurance you both want, and agree on a cool-down signal before arguments heat up.

50/50

Close to the middle

If one or both of you score near 50/50, you can shift between styles more easily. Balance tends to come naturally, and your roles may change over time or under stress.

Try: notice which side shows up when you’re tired or stressed, and tell your partner.

♥

How each type shows love

Analyticals tend to show love through doing things, providing and being dependable. Physicals tend to show it through touch, words and time together. Both are real; they just look different.

Try: each of you name one thing the other does that you now see as love.

Differences are not deal-breakers

How two people understand and handle their differences matters far more than the numbers. Use your comparison to start a conversation, not to reach a verdict.

FAQ

Comparing Kappasinian Sexuality results: common questions

Is the comparison tool free?

Yes. Both the Sexual Personality Test and the comparison tool are completely free, including your personalized interpretations, and neither requires an account.

What do I get from the comparison?

Not a form letter. You get an instant interpretation written for your two exact results: what kind of pair you are in Dr. Kappas’s terms, where you’re likely to click, where you may misread each other, and simple tips for each partner.

What do I need to compare results?

Each partner needs a result from the Hypnotechs Sexual Personality Test. Copy the Analytical and Physical percentages from the line at the top of each results page, plus a name for each partner.

Can I use scores from the original test or another test?

For accurate results, both partners should take the new Hypnotechs Sexual Personality Test. Other questionnaires use different questions and scoring, so their numbers are not directly comparable.

What if our numbers don’t add up to 100?

Each person’s Analytical and Physical percentages always add up to 100. If the numbers you enter don’t, the tool will ask you to check them and try again instead of writing a comparison.

Can this predict whether our relationship will work?

No. Your Sexual Personality styles are only one part of any relationship. A comparison can point out likely areas of ease and friction, but communication, shared values and commitment matter much more.

Is this an HMI test?

No. The E&P theory was developed by Dr. John Kappas, founder of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI). This comparison tool was written by Hypnotechs and is not an official HMI product.

Is the comparison a clinical or counseling assessment?

No. The comparison is designed for self-reflection and conversation. It is not a substitute for relationship counseling or professional advice.
